Simple Fern

As of late, I have really been on a fern/leaf kick. I played around one afternoon and cranked out a bunch of very simple cards that would work for any occasion, in my humble opinion. At the same time, I ended up dusting off a few very old stamps, as well as my embossing powders, which made me feel good.

1114D - Leaves #1/Bold by Embossing Arts. Heat embossed on Fabriano Mediovalis carstock. Edge distressed and then adhered to Farbiano card.

553F - Fern by Embossing Arts. Simply heat embossed on Fabriano Mediovalis card.

G10504 - Leafy Stem by Paper Inspirations. Heat embossed on Beckett Expressions card stock. Die cut and matted with my trusty Nesties and mounted on Beckett Expressions card.

G10504 - Leafy Stem by Paper Inspirations. Heat embossed on Fabriano Mediovalis card.

Does it get any simpler than that? Where I usually tend to feel like I am 'cheating' if there's no colouring, I just really enjoy the sheer simplicity of these cards.

Yes, these are all so lovely in their elegant simplicity! The first one is my favorite. I love leaves and think they're perfect for any occasion. Are these part of the order you are working on?

Cheat again ANY time, Isabelle! I love leaves and ferns and branches and whatever else you want to do.
