Happy Swiss National Day, as Switzerland celebrates its 717th Birthday today! Fireworks over Basle (my home town) light up the Rhine river (Photo: Patrick Straub/ Keystone)

Happy Swiss National Day, Isabelle!! Do you do anything special to celebrate? 717 is a whole lot of history. I saw Plymouth Rock (1620) a couple weeks ago and realized I felt more awe looking around at the Shaker Village in Maine from the 1800s. Happy Weekend!
Happy Swiss National Day Isabelle! I don't know how you're supposed to celebrate (traditionally, I mean) but perhaps you could tell William that it's customary to eat at TdB.
Oh yes!! William will play the alp horn, while I scare the neighbourhood dogs with my yodeling. We're also planning on a few fireworks and a nice, big bonfire on our balcony. It is built of wood, so it will be perfect!
