A Rose is a Rose

As I mentioned in another post, I have indeed been playing with the floating ink technique and the Rose from SU's Fifth Avenue Floral set. But after having inked and cut out a whole bunch of roses previously, I finally assembled my first card today.

While I had been lusting after various sizzix diecuts or large leave punches to complete my card, I was thrilled to find the perfect punch right on my desk. DUH! We do get inventive (and thrifty) when we cannot afford to just go out and buy something, don't we? This punch is from Martha Stewart and while it is a little small, I actually quite like it with the rose.

Well, that's if for today, my friends. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. Cheerio - Isabelle

OOH! Is this ever pretty! It makes me think of the ginger something rose that is in bud form out beside the house as I type this. Yeah for thirft and ingenuity! Pair them with your coloring and it's perfection.
