Autumn Splendor

Temperatures are falling, but the sun is shining brightly here in Colorado, casting that glorious, golden glow on all the aspen leaves. Perfect inspiration for a bright and sunny autumn card.

I embossed a yellow, textured card stock with my Cuttlebug "Pumpkin Harvest" embossing folder and then coloured the raised parts with inks and my aquapainter. Of course, I had to add a touch of glitter (in the grooves of the pumpkin) with my Stardust Clear Glittering Pen from Sakura.

Are you enjoying autumn where you are?

The leaves are beginning to change here, and the air has gotten cooler and dryer. I'll be happy to see the end of the mosquitoes soon, so we can enjoy the outdoors!

I like what you've done with the pumpkin CB folder! That's one of the ones I don't yet have, and I'm trying not to "need" it! LOL You're not helping in that regard! ;)
