I thought it only appropriate, then, to celebrate this Hambo Wednesday with this bug card.
on the inside:
I just love how the sentiment starts out so innocently with: "Heard you caught a bug..." and then you get to the second part of it: "Since when have YOU been an entomologist?" Too funny, isn't it?
The bug (actually a Christmas image) was stamped twice. Once on glossy paper and once on vellum. Both were coloured with markers and cut out. Then, I adhered the glossy bug - without the wings - to the vellum wings and 3D mounted it on a white glossy oval paper.
