Clean and Simple Fun!

Finally, I am back with a new card. Things have been a wee bit crazy over here and I hope you'll bear with me until I will be able to post more regularly again.

In the meantime, I'd like to leave you with this lovely
Dirty Bird from Hambo's very latest Spring Designs. I fell in love with this stamp the moment I saw it and know that it's one that I will prolly never, ever part with - ever!

After I coloured this cutie with my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol I cut it out, then fiddled and fussed with all kinds of matching printed papers. I tried this and that, I even cut coordinating ribbon and everything. But in the end I felt that it would all distract too much from the lil' bird and simply 3D mounted it on my card. Yup, I liked the design the most on good ol' clean card stock. Sometimes, simple just works, I suppose. What do you think?

WOW! When I saw this image over at Hambo, I thought it might be the one to get me to invest in more "cute" and your darling card is really an arm twister. So glad you shared this one.
