My first Time...
...using the Magic Coloured Pencil Technique, that is. My coloured pencils and the Odorless Mineral Spirits have been sitting around for some time, gathering dust. So, it was time for me to bite the bullet and give this technique a try.
Although, this technique is not new, I never had the opportunity to see it demonstrated in person. Years ago, at a stamp convention there was a booth that was absolutely crowded and I did not have the patience to find out why. But I know they were showing that very version of colouring right there.
Sue, at Heart Prints has posted a wonderful Tutorial on her incredible Card Gallery. You prolly already know Sue, as she has been stamping and demoing for a looong time. Her creations are simply gorgeous and she is my idol, LOL.
The stamp I used for my first Gamsol attempt is:
G6269 - Snow Snuggles from Impression Obsession.

Wow, the coloring is fabulous! Did you have fun with this technique? It looks like you've been doing it forever.
Isabelle,
What a cute card! They have real people expression on their little snow faces! :-) Love the coloring!
Thank you so much for the card!! It was wonderful getting a personaly handwritten card for being a customer.
Take care and Have a wonderful and safe Holiday season!!
Great coloring job, Isabelle! I have met Sue a couple of times and am always so glad when I don't drool on her. Hope you and your dh have a wonderful holiday. I'll be by to visit again next year :)
Well ~ for a first time, you did a FAB job and on such a cute image! I love it all! :) Dotty
Isabelle! YOU are so sweet! Your first "attempt" shows that your talent has now been directed to a new coloring medium. I have admired the soft precise skill you have for a long time and look forward to each new creation.
And not only THAT, but the dress you sent for Emily is one of my favorites. I got a picture of her in it this summer and now have it posted with a photo clip on my gallery.
