WELCOME!

We all know the Pineapple symbolizes a sense of welcome, good cheer, warmth and hospitality and that’s exactly how Monica treats her customers at Hambo Stamps.

I made this card by first stamping the pineapple twice on white paper. I coloured the first one and cut it out. For a bit more dimension (which the scan doesn't not reflect well), I just coloured the leaves on the second image and cut those out, leaving a little tab that I then inserted into a tiny slit right under the leaves. After securing the little tab on the back with a bit of glue, I then glued the pineapple on a punched out oval with 3D mounting squares. Simple!

The stamps:
Pineapple - 14-23
Welcome - 12-9

What a great card! I love the idea of making the leaves even more 3-D. You are sooo clever! (I learned something new today too...I never knew that the pinapple was a symbol of welcome!) Thanks for sharing!
