Raking Leaves

It's been very windy around here and the leaves are really coming down. A few of the neighbours have already been busy raking theirs, but I haven't. To me, raking leaves while they are still coming down is like shoveling snow while it's snowing. Of course, I could be wrong about that.

Instead of raking leaves, I much rather inked up my new Raking Leaves stamp, LOL.

I coloured the image with my new Copics and intended to 'frame' it with the Martha Stewart Border and Corner Punches. When I couldn't get the size of the frame right, I just used a Spellbinder's Nestabilties die and the punched-out maple leaves instead. It seemed a better solution than losing my patience. One of these days, I will just sit down and try to figure out how to properly line up the border and corner punches and it will be fine. :)

Nice job with the basket of leaves. Can see why it was your favorite from the Hambo new releases. Good luck with figuring out how to work the corner and border punch thing. I'd be writing it down if I figured it out.

Your colouring is fab! That rake looks real. I need to work on my wood colouring. :)
