Sun Dried

It's been two whole months since I last sat down to stamp. I was almost surprised that I remembered how. But, even hedgehogs have to do laundry apparently, so I helped this one along.

I stamped the image on watercolour paper and watercoloured it with my Adirondack Inks. The socks, the knickers and the grass were actually coloured with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol and I also used my markers for the tiny clothes pegs. Then I added a bit of sparkle to the flowers with the Stardust Clear Glittering Pen from Sakura.

For the background, I embossed the red card stock with the polka dot folder in the Cuttlebug and then sanded it lightly to expose the white part.

This is one of Penny Black's newest stamps. You'll find quite a few of their stamps at The Stampbuzz. But did you know that we are happy to special order stamps for you? So please feel free to contact me if you happen to need anything that you don't find on our site.

Thanks for looking and I'll try hard to be back soon with another card!

Hi Isabelle! I'm SO glad to see that you're stamping again -- I've really missed all your cute creations! This card is terrific and inspiring too. In fact it inspired me to start my own laundry chores. ;)

Have a great day!
