Alert the Media....

...I actually stamped! It's been weeks and my new stamp room is still a shambles, but I found the hardware for my L-shaped desk that was in storage for the last three years and we assembled it straight away. The good news is that the desk faces a corner and thus I won't see the huge mess behind me, LOL.

There were more than 70 boxes to unpack - just for the stamp room. (A few of them were those huge Dell boxes that new computers come in). While most of the boxes have indeed been emptied, I have not found room for all the contents yet. My new stamp loft filled up so quickly, it was scary. There goes my dream of an uncluttered new room. But hey, it's stamp stuff and we love it, right?

Although, I feel pretty guilty about it, I have finally decided not to make and write any Christmas cards this year. However, we will be hosting a little Christmas gathering at our new house and I wanted to stamp the invitations.

The invitations fit a Size 10 envelope. I stamped 2996J - Wish List! with black Memories ink and coloured it with coloured pencils and Gamsol after printing out all the pertinent info on Cryogen White Shimmer Paper. As I went to adhere the card to the Lipstick Red Bazzill Bling Paper, I thought the top needed a little something. Unable to find my photo corners, I decided to use a corner punch instead, which happened to be unpacked and on my desk, LOL.

For the envelope I used 3916K - The Light Brigade

Both stamps are by Penny Black and although our website is still down, I do have them available, if anyone should be interested.

Please bear with me while I still try to get the new home and my stamp room in order. In 20 years of marriage, this has been our 14th move and even though this was actually a local move, it was tough. Prolly, because we've never had more stuff than now. But, one of these days, I shall stamp and blog regularly again. :)

Darling invites! So glad you are starting to get settled into your new, but not nearly big enough, space. If William had built you a separate house, would it all have fit?
