Ruby Red

Very dear friends of mine are celebrating their Ruby Anniversary today. My husband I and truly wish we could have attended the surprise luncheon their daughter organized for the special event, a couple of weeks ago. But unfortunately, moving made an impromptu visit to Massachusetts impossible for us.
Instead, we had to send our best wishes by mail and this is the card I made for the special occasion.

A simple, elegant card was in order and I shamelessly copied the idea from Sue, the stamping and colouring guru, LOL.

Thanks for being a continuous inspiration Sue, and HAPPY 40th ANNIVERSARY to Ann & Dave!

The deets for 'my' card:
G101 - Congrats Rose by Stampendous
Bazzill Bling Birthstones Cardstock: Ruby Red/July
Pearlized Cardstock
Cuttlebug Birds & Swirls and Swiss Dots Embossing Folders

I wish I knew how to do this, because it's just gorgeous! I think the recipients will agree that it was worth putting up with each other for 40 years to receive something so special! :)
