This 'Cracks' me Up!

Both the main image in my card, as well as the sentiment are brand new Spring releases from Hambo Stamps.

I stamped Harvest Moon on white card stock, coloured it with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol, then cut it out. The second time, I stamped it on pre-printed sky paper and coloured the flower pots on that. I cut the bottom of the sky paper, just a tad above the bottom of the flower pots. The next step was cutting a smaller piece of pre-printed green paper for the bottom and cut them both to size. Together I then framed the green and sky paper with a piece of white card stock. After I stamped How's It Growin? on the top, I glued everything onto a dark blue card and 3D mounted the cut out image that I had previously cut out. To soften the stark line between the sky and the green papers, I decided to add the little Flower Pot. I stamped it three times on a scrap piece of white paper, coloured and cut them out and adhered them. As a last step, I added a bit of sparkle to all the flowers with my Sakura Stardust Glitter Pen.

Check out Hambo's People Gallery for two fabulous samples that also use the Harvest Moon stamp. One was created by Holly McMillen, the other by Colleen Schaan. Oh, and Libby Hickson is celebrating Hambo Week with a few fantastic designs of her own.

That paper piecing really makes this card. Looks like spring planting to me - Yeah! Hopefully, though, that's NOT me when I kneel along my garden.
