THREE FLOWERS

These new Inkadinkado images are so much fun!

After my husband expressed sincere dislike for my hummingbird card a few days ago, I decided to stamp these little flowers in gray, rather than my usually black ink. It still left me with the guidelines for watercolouring but also gave the image a much softer look. I think I'd like this card, if the ovals did not resemble easter eggs so much, LOL!

Work is beautiful, I need to start stamping more.

They're all colored so pretty Isabelle! I don't think they look like Easter eggs ... completely. LOL! Maybe try doodling (a la Colleen) to make them more like frames than eggs. Of course, easy for me to say. I've tried the doodling myself, and it looked ridiculous.

I can't wait to try the matching tulip stamp I just received from you. Thanks again for your excellent customer service! :)

I've considered Colleen doodles, but in all honesty think I'd mess it up completely. Until I can afford to buy those doodle stamps from Gina K. that coordinate perfectly with the marvy punches, I will have to hold my breath, LOL.
Funny thing is that I thought the ovals looked like eggs which William confirmed with his immediate reaction of 'niiiice eggs'.....

I've got my eyes on those Gina K doodle stamps as well, but first I probably need the punches.

William ... gotta love him, don't ya?!

Yeah, the punches would help.
William, my fiercest critic, LOL!

You guys crack me up...I LOVE the ovals...I don't think they look like eggs at all...(okay...I stopped typing and REALLY looked for about 30 seconds...and now I'm getting hungry!) Sorry...eggs! Maybe have the ribbon be a brighter color to draw the eye along that??? I think you colored them in beautifully...especially the lily! WOW.

From the doodle queen!

Oh, and HOW could your hubby NOT like that hummingbird card??? It was a true work of art...MEN!

Hahahaha, I'll tell him you said so, Colleen. But first, I will have to practice my Colleen doodles, LOL!

These are beautiful, Isabelle. Do you have any Antique Linen Distress Ink? Maybe if you just rubbed a bit on the edges of your eggs to soften them. I rarely stamp with black, so like the gray. I'm a brown girl. I played with the glimmer mist a bit and am liking it. So did my friend I sent the card to! Will be anxiously waiting to see the first thing the stamping critic stamps for us to view...

Yes, I think I might try the Distress Inked edge idea, Nise as well as Colleen's thoughts about a brighter ribbon. Thanks for the advise ladies!
