OUT OF THE BOX!

I like attending card making workshops because I learn new things and because it forces me to think outside the box. Usually, I end up with cards that are very different from my regular ol' style. Being relatively new to this area, it is also nice to sit, create and joke with other stamp addicts for a change. (I miss my friends back in South Carolina).

So, I made four cards yesterday that I will be featuring over the next few days, all created with Hero Arts stamps.

The first one was made with the following supplies:

E4696 - Designer Blossom
A4242 - Tiny Daisy
Ripple Borders - LL199

We used Black StazOn ink for the outline stamps and Brilliance inks (Aurora, Peacock and Twilight) to stamp the border images as well as to colour in the images with daubers. I would have never thought of doing this, but the Brilliance inks leave the colouring with a nice sheen.

For some added 'bling' we decorated our creations with self adhseive Gemstones.

Another neat trick I learned was to use small round 3D mounting circles and dip one side of the adhesive into glitter before adhering them onto the card for yet even more glitz, shimmer and pizazz.

Beautiful card. I find it feminine and gentle.
