Hoping
Dare to dream!
A play on words, as the word Waage (scale) sounds the same as wage (dare), in German.
As you can see, I am just as hopeless in faux-stitching as I am with my sewing machine, LOL. It looks just as crooked. Does that mean it looks more realistic?

The Big Guy Jogging
It's Mo's Monday and I am happy to show a card from Mo's new Big Guy line.
I saw a card made from this stamp where the lady had coloured in "big guy's' tan lines. How hilarious is that? You could really see the lines from wearing his usual t-shirt, LOL.

Sorry Shanna
It's been a while since I've coloured any Mo images, but I am back to show one, this sunny Monday.
Shanna was coloured mostly with Copic Markers. Only her dress was done with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.

Swine Flu?
At first I was really stumped when a friend asked me to make a poster type thing for her that was related to the Swine Flu. How on earth was I going to stamp something that large? But of course, digital stamps are perfect for especially that! Not only that, but I had already purchased Mo's Swine Flu stamp.
I printed the image as large as I could on a 8 1/2 x 11 piece of card stock and coloured it with Copic Markers. This had to be the largest image I ever coloured, LOL. Then, I wadded up little pieces of tissue and glued them atop the piece. To frame it, I stamped several pieces of Kraft Paper with a woodgrain background stamp. Those were loosely angled around the 'poster' and I added a few brads, to simulate nails.

Fan's Cricket
Welcome to another edition of Mo's Monday, here at Inkerbelle's.
I thought paper piecing Fan's outfit would make perfect sense. Executing the idea was less than ideal, unfortunately. The delicate Asian paper did not take too well to the printer. While it went through easily, the paper 'swallowed' most of the ink and cutting out the very faint lines was hard. In the end, I decided to colour Fan's pants and only cut out her jacket. It still turned out pretty cute, I think.

You're My Best
Clearly, I adore Mo Manning's kids images.
One thing I particularly like, is that Mo draws kids of different cultures and colours. The 'You're My Best" stamp is available in a girl or boy version, as well as a Caucasian and an African American version. Only, how do you choose? :)
In typical 'Isabelle fashion' I did not choose, but rather purchased them all, LOL. I have yet to colour the boys and hopefully, I can show them here soon.

Bye Bye!
It's Mo Monday, here at Inkerbelle's, folks.
The entire image (digital stamp) was coloured with Copic Markers. The card looks pretty dark here, but it's actually brown, similar to the girl's hair colour. I also stamped a tiny flower background on it, using the MicaMagic ink pad in metallic pink, for the tiniest bit of shimmer.

Binky Baby (and NEW STAMPS)
I loooove making baby cards because it's okay to be all whimsical, soft and sweet. However, for this card, I tried to remain a bit more neutral. Do you think my attempt was successful? In the end, it's still a sweet baby card, isn't it?

Get Up, Stand Up!
You would never know it looking at me now, but I was quite the Reggea fan in my younger days, LOL.
'Dante's Drum' is a digital stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop and he was simply too sweet for me too pass up.
This was my first attempt at colouring dark skin tone and I used my Copic markers to do it. Dante's dreads, the rasta hat and the peace sign were also done with Copics. For everything else, I used my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. Isn't Dante the perfect image for using brighter colours?
