Garden Roses

It's a rainy and cool Friday morning, here in Colorado. The perfect time to show another one of my cheery rose creations.

I used white embossing powder again, this time on 'Fiesta Silver Sparkles' paper. Instead of the floating reinker technique, I simply coloured the image with markers. To soften the look, I then went in with my aquapainter pen to smoosh the ink around. Sooo much fun!

The piece of paper was cropped to size and adhered to a slightly larger piece of 'Fiesta Twinkle' paper, which is a pretty blue with the same silver sparkle. That, in turn was then glued to a "Silver Sparkles' card.

And there you have it; another very simple but cheerful card.

If you care to come back tomorrow, you'll find my small contribution to a very special Memorial weekend blog hop.

Absolutely STUNNING, Isabelle! I think that card belongs in a frame, and I'm not just saying that. Frame it, put it on the wall, and enjoy looking at it every day! :)
